We are an equipment seller of Walk-In Bathtubs. We do not have installers in our employee, we do not subcontract installations and wrap the labor into the cost of the purchase so that we can charge a much higher price. Warrantees and Guarantees are not affected by who does the installation of a Walk-In Bathtub.
Walk-In Bathtubs are relatively easy to install, and come with complete instructions. Anyone - a plumber, a contractor, a skilled handyman, a relative with mechanical aptitude - or others that could install a regular bathtub, can equally easily install a Walk-In tub. Nonetheless,we recognize that many consumers who are in the market for a Walk-In Bathtub would prefer a one stop shop, and don't want to have to search out a competent and capable installer. Therefore, on Monday, July 9th we initiated the first and only guide available of tradesmen nationwide who have experience in Walk-In Bathtub installations; the national "Directory of Qualified Walk-In Bathtub Installers". The Directory is available to all, not only those who purchase a tub from us. The consumer may contact the installer directly either before or after the purchase of a Walk-In Bathtub and make arrangements to utilize that installer's services if they so choose. IMPORTANT NOTE: We CAN refer Qualified installers throughout the State of Florida although they may not be listed in The Directory. In order to be included in the Directory, The Walk-In Bathtub Store's application must be filled out satisfactorily, proof of at least $500,000 insurance coverage must be provided, and we MUST be able to contact five satisfied past customers. A phone interview is also mandatory. In short we will do everything possible to ensure that only expert, quality installation services are offered in the Directory.
Although we do not have listings in every location as of yet, many Walk-In Bathtub Installers will travel, and we will be actively recruiting participation over the next few weeks. We expect the Directory to grow rapidly. Please check back with us frequently if there are no installers listed in your State. In many locations we do have contacts that are not yet included in the Directory. Please feel free to ask about your area whether or not you plan to buy a Walk-In Tub from us. We are currently actively seeking installers in all states to join the Directory. If you are an installer or a plumber, contractor, or builder that would like to be included, please call us at the number below. Inclusion is not guaranteed, and is at the sole discretion of The Walk-In Bathtub Store. The Walk-In Bathtub Store does not recommend or endorse any of the listees in The Directory and is in no way responsible for the quality of work rendered by the listees. We do not receive a "kickback" or any other type of monetary consideration from the installers who choose to list their services in The Directory. Any and all arrangements, contractual obligations and/or disputes are between the consumer and the installer.
